An intimate fashion show launch event was held at Light House Coffee to introduce Eightyseven Elyse, a modern fashion label for the femme fatale.
Eightyseven Elyse is a Louisiana based online boutique, founded by fashion stylist, Brandi Hatch with the idea of presenting exclusive finds and limited stand out pieces for the metropolitan femme.
Named to infuse herself into the venture, Eightyseven Elyse is the year the stylist was born, 1987 and her daughter’s middle name, Elyse.
The room was filled with family and friends all staring on with admiration, love, and support. DJ kept the vibes controlled with smooth and upbeat R&B and even added a hint of a ratchet to the mix. Chef Keon Sibley of Kajun Sensation Catering made sure everyone had a drink in hand and a plate full of mouthwatering and filling appetizers.
A perfect environment was created for mixing and mingling, sipping and shopping.
Brandi spoke on how this had long been a dream of hers that the oversaturation of the industry discouraged her from pursuing.
I’m elated that she persevered despite that because the pieces that were featured at the show were all dying to come home with me. It’s evident that she has an amazing a sense of style with these eye-catching and attention-grabbing pieces and it’s great to see she’s looking to challenge the perception of locally owned boutiques.
Even the simple and chic, logo only shirts that her loved ones wore, matching the backdrop, cake, and other subtle touches to completely brand the event were dope AF too.
Luckily for me, Brandi gifted each guest with a shirt as a thank you to those for believing in the vision and coming out to support and celebrate with her on launch day.
Let’s give it up to the photographer, Rachel Mayo for getting with all these amazing angles!
I’m excited to welcome a new entrepreneur to Baton Rouge’s business scene and can’t wait to see what’s next for Eighty Seven Elyse. Brandi is ready to shake things up and I’m here for it!
