The Only Wine You Need This Holiday Season

Wine.

My best friend and probably yours too. If you’re anything like me you need several bottles to get you through the week, better yet, the day.

Adulting is hard. I have pretty much an entire winery complete with ‘bae has me ready to square up’ merlot, ‘the baby had a blow out’ pinot noir or my personal favorite, ‘fuck all this shit’ chardonnay.

Or even a celebratory, ‘I made it through Monday’ bottle.

And that’s just a regular schmegular week.

The holidays can bring on a lot of stress, longer work days, and uninvited house guests. Lucky for you, though someone thought to squish a couple of grapes and make greatness. When things stray away from your normal routine… there’s something that can remain constant…. a good mood brought to you by wine.

So whether you’re enjoying moments of love and laughter with your extended kin or dealing with the disrespectful remarks from T Cathy with the crunchy mac & cheese and the tired wig.

Wine should never be too far. Wine will never ask you ‘how’s school going?’ or ‘why you still haven’t had any kids?’ Wine will be your hug. Your almost free therapy session. Wine will be your sanity.

Since the holidays are near and Jack Frost is nipping at your nose (unless you’re in Louisiana), you’re probably ready to give your knees a rest and save your hot girl ways for next summer.

It’s the perfect time of year to rid yourself of all worries and cuddle up with a nice blend (or somebody’s son, or both).

I wanted to introduce you to one of my favorite wines brands, Ole’ Orleans. A locally owned and black-owned brand that I’m sure you’ll fall in love with.

Ole’ Orleans is a collection of well-balanced wines with a luxurious, delicate, and lingering finish. Richly flavored, New Orleans very own handcrafted wines, created in Louisiana. La Nouvelle-Orléans, located along the Mississippi River is well known for its Creole and Cajun roots. Ole’ Orleans is a tribute to historic New Orleans, currently carrying two white blends, Ole Carrollton and Tchoupitoulas and is expected to release a red blend in the coming weeks.
